Welcome to Carson City Jiu Jitsu
We are a martial arts gym in Carson City Michigan. Our gym focuses primarily on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, submission grappling, and wrestling. We are affiliated with Team Domingos out of Las Vegas NV. Team Domingos is a world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym owned by black belt IBJJF world champion Rafael Domingos. Rafael is a black belt directly under UFC veteran Damian Meia. Carson City Jiu Jitsu head coach Riley Reynard lived and trained in Las Vegas under Rafael for several years before moving back to Michigan in 2022.
Adult Jiu Jitsu
We have classes for everyone at Carson City jiu jitsu. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced grappler of any kind. We offer traditional gi classes that focus on developing the fundamentals of jiu jitsu and self defense training. We also offer no gi classes that focus heavily on wrestling, takedowns, and beginner-advanced no gi submission grappling. If competing is something that interests you, we have a weekly intensive competition style class.
Youth Jiu Jitsu
We strive to provide an environment that not only teaches the fundamental techniques of jiu jitsu, grappling, and self defense, but also builds important life skills. Jiu jitsu training will help kids develop self confidence in their ability to both defend themselves and to accomplish difficult goals in life. Jiu jitsu will also help kids develop self discipline and social skills. We do this all through a mixture of movement training, technique demonstration and drilling, and fun task based games.
